Leading the British Army with heart, with mind

This was the first officer specific recruitment drive in 8 years. We decided to go digital with 2 fully loaded trucks, packed with digital tech that enabled us to showcase the reality of being an Army Officer in a way that generated excitement, really engaged and started conversations. 


These interactive truck roadshows gave people the opportunity to jump out of a plane with the Paras, command a Challenger 2 tank, take part in an urban combat exercise and get a taste of adventurous training, and run the revered Sandhurst obstacle course, all in virtual reality. And outside the trucks the principle of showcasing through experience continued with a virtual beep test that gave people the opportunity both to see if they were fit enough to keep up with an Army PT instructor, and also to compete in a competition to top the leaderboard.
